1. Who we are
Perspexis ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data we process about you when you use Perspexis. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, login credentials, and profile information you provide.
- Organization data: details about your organization, your responses to the POHI assessment, your layer entries, and playbooks generated for you.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, IP address, browser and device identifiers, and similar telemetry — used to operate and improve the service.
- Payment data: handled by our payments provider (Paddle). We do not store full card details.
3. Why we use it
- To create and operate your account.
- To provide the Perspexis service and the AI features you ask for.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and secure the service.
- To respond to support requests.
- To improve and develop new features.
- To communicate service updates and, with your consent, marketing.
4. Legal bases
We process your personal data on the bases of performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent (where applicable), and to meet legal obligations.
5. Who we share with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, analytics, AI inference, customer support, and email delivery providers.
- Merchant of Record: Paddle.com handles payments, subscription management, tax, and invoicing for our sales.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where relevant.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and audit obligations. We delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. EU/UK users can complain to a supervisory authority. We aim to respond to rights requests within one month.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging to protect your data.
